In praise of the Moral Compass

August 14th, 2007

Dr Petra

Cory Silverberg alerted me to this fantastic resource from the University of Berkeley, CA. The Moral Compass allows you to find answers to how most key world religions stand on issues such as masturbation, contraception, divorce, adultery and homosexuality. You can see whether different religions accept, tolerate, disapprove of or ouright condemn certain practices. Some of the answers will surprise you.

The site will be of particular use to anyone interested in faith and sex, and for those working with multi faith communities. And it has the additional fun option of allowing you to put your searches in God’s hands and randomly find out different religious views on sex and relationships.
