Listen again to Up All Night: sex, pregnancy and parenthood

March 16th, 2007

Dr Petra

On last night’s ‘Up All Night’ sex and relationships phone in on BBC 5 Live we were talking sex during and after pregnancy. We were joined by Ariel Gore, author of the excellent Hip Mama Survival Guide and Hip Mama magazine.

We had planned to cover issues such as sex to get pregnant, coping with miscarriage and stillbirth, sex during pregnancy, and what happens to your sex life when kids come along.

We got a little sidetracked during the phone in, so my apologies if we didn’t tackle any of your pregnancy, birth or parenthood questions.

Callers did have worries about erectile dysfunction, catching sexually transmitted infections, and whether they could have a vasectomy reversed.

If you want to listen to the programme visit the BBC Five Live site and go to the listen again page. Pick ‘Up All Night’ from the list of programmes and click on Friday’s show. You then need to forward in to 2.30 am (or 90 minutes into the programme) and you’ll catch the hour-long show. This archive will be accessible for the next week.

I’ll be taking a break from the programme for the next few months, but should be back doing our regular sex and relationships phone-ins during the autumn; I’ll keep you updated.
