Think before you show pink
October is breast cancer awareness month. Obviously we want to raise awareness , but it seems a number of organisations are just cashing in on the whole pink ribbon thing. Here are some questions to ask before you go pink.

October is a busy month. As well as being about breast cancer awareness it’s also National Sexuality Education Month and Cory Silverberg has some great tips on talking to your kids about the sex issues that matter.

The Metro addresses the topic of size while I tackle another willy worry.
HIV and Me
Actor Stephen Fry presents a two part documentary series on BBC2 about HIV. The website includes film clips, information and a forum where you can ask health experts for advice on your HIV and sexual health questions.
Galapagos hawk’s mating habits explained
New research on the Galapagos hawk suggests that the species has a mating strategy of ‘cooperative polyandry’ where one female is joined by several males who help her rear her young. Which runs counter to many evolutionary views of sex, but sounds like a very good idea to me
