Useful new information resource for HIV

November 29th, 2006

Dr Petra

As world AIDS day approaches you may be interested in this new resource from DIPEX (Directory of Patient Experiences). DIPEX specialises in interviewing people living with different health problems (e.g. diabetes and cancer) and displaying audio, visual and written accounts from patients and carers on their site. All DIPEX sites are created in collaboration with healthcare staff, patients and carers, and include other useful resources and links to support information.

You can visit the DIPEX HIV site here. It will be of use to you if you’re affected by HIV/AIDS, work with people affected by HIV or just want to learn more about HIV. Those working in teaching, education and health promotion around HIV may find the accounts on the site helpful in their outreach work.
