Talks and Training

I have been researching, teaching and evaluating sexual health, relationships and SRE for the past fifteen years in the UK and internationally. This work has led me to offer advice via the media, and to create practical training and support sessions for practitioners, journalists, teenagers and parents to communicate sex and relationships messages.

I have worked as a consultant to numerous sexual health charities, NGOs, broadcasters, and health organisations (including the Department of Health) on how best to deliver sex and relationships messages.

All of the courses offered draw on this experience and are based on the latest evidence in sex/relationships health. They are designed to be entertaining and accessible and include reading materials, workbooks and resources and after-training support (if required).

Talks and training can be tailored to suit the needs of your organisation or client group.

Sessions range from one hour talks to half or one day training sessions, depending on topic and audience.

Talks for schools and training for small-scale and limited funded charities is free. Training and talks for larger organisations is based on a sliding scale fee system. (Fees paid towards training/classes are used to fund not-for-profit activities elsewhere).
